 Au revoir

Tried to position the photos over the spots on the map where I took them.  Most are self-explanatory, with a possible couple exceptions:

  • The McDonald's pic

Blurry, based on my reaction to all the strange reactions to my photographing the menu.  Pulp Fiction, still today one of my all-time favorites, was the inspiration.

  • Hard Rock Cafe

Over the years I and Mirna have become fans of the HRC franchise, and so naturally I had to stop into this one.  Bonus: a WB cartoon airing during my brief stay.
Shouldn't Waterworld be 'Le Monde D'eau'?

Jim Morrison's penning of 'Crawling King Snake'

Paris Day Trip

14 Oct 95

Bon jour!

Had a brief, work-related trip to Germany in 1995, during which time I took a USO day trip to Paris. It was just me--Mirna and Austin were back in Italy (Austin was seven weeks old!).

Bus trip from Ramstein took a few hours each way, and I was in La Ville Lumière for maybe a total of 8 hours. But I covered a lot of mileage!
